I didn’t come into performance training the traditional way—and that’s exactly why The GOAT Lab exists.

My background is in the business of sport, with experience in finance roles across organizations like the National Basketball Association, National Football League Players Association, and Warner Bros. Discovery / Bleacher Report. Being around high-level environments gave me a different perspective on what actually separates athletes as they move up the levels.

At the same time, I was coaching soccer at the high school and middle school levels—working directly with athletes who were putting in the work, but not always seeing the results.

That disconnect stood out.

Athletes were training hard, but not always training in a way that translated.

That realization led me deeper into performance training—studying speed, movement, and how athletes develop over time.

Today, I also teach Sports Finance as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University, continuing to stay connected to the broader landscape of sport.

The GOAT Lab was built from that intersection:

Understanding the game as a coach

Understanding systems through a business lens

And recognizing where athletes were being underserved

Everything we do is structured, intentional, and built for transfer. Not just to get through a session—but to show up where it matters.

The turning point wasn’t a single moment—it was a pattern.

Coaching players who were committed, working hard, and doing everything they were told—but still not separating.

At the same time, being exposed to high-level environments showed me that performance isn’t random. There’s structure behind it.

The enemy wasn’t lack of effort—it was misdirected effort.

That’s what shifted my focus—from running sessions to building a system where every rep has a purpose and every session connects to real performance.

I work with athletes who are serious about improving and want their training to actually translate.

My focus is helping players who feel like they’re putting in the work but not getting the results they expect. That’s where the right structure changes everything.

At The GOAT Lab, the goal isn’t just to train—it’s to develop athletes in a way that shows up in their sport.
